Publisher's Summary

I've never spent a day without my mate since arriving on the ice planet. I'm happy and in love, and we have a beautiful child together. All that changed when the world shook.

My mate nearly died.

He wakes up from his coma...and he can't remember me. Or our son. Every memory of the past two years is gone. And that changes everything between us. How can I love someone that doesn't remember me?

How can I not, when I know he's still my mate underneath it all?

Contains mature themes.

Heartwarming

This is the love story between Stacie and Pashov.

Pashov wakes up from the cave in, alive but no memories from the last two years. He has forgotten his mate and kit. He wakes up to find that he is homeless and the world full of many human faces.

Poor Stacie is heartbroken. It takes her a long time to realize that they can make new memories.

A long time. They have a hard time reconnecting. Harrec helps, by making him jealous 😂.

Taking her to a cave helps, until a mother metlak comes. And they come home. Stacie forgot that she told him she wasn't ready for him as a mate. This the misunderstanding. They discovered eggs after a fight and crying, they made up and resonated again.

Loved this one!

I’d been hoping the author would tell the story of what happened to Pashal and Stacy after he was injured in the cave-in and this audiobook did a great job! I always like the Ice Planet series and was very entertained by this story. Stacy just wants her mate back, but Pashal doesn’t remember her or the human women coming to Not Hoth. He doesn’t remember their baby either. Can they still make it work? Narration was excellent.

Finding their way back to each other

Best enjoyed if you can read book 8.5 Aftershocks before this book, as it enriches the story and fills in any gaps from book 8.0 Barbarian’s Taming.
The Clan is devastated after the earthquake has destroyed their home cave. It has taken Pashov a long time to recover from his serious injuries and he has lost many memories, including those of his mate Stacey, and their son, Pacey. They deal with the challenges of moving their home camp to the new valley, and in finding their way back to each other.
I REALLY like the tandem narration by Jackson and Lloyd, where she takes female and he takes male voices. Well done!
