Publisher's Summary

Andy: The day my bank was robbed by six masked men was the worst day of my life. The next day, I lost my job for not following protocol during the robbery. Eventually, I found a new job. Luckily, it was right next door to the sexiest man I'd ever met. His name was Baker. He was a biker, a badass, and he was sex on a stick.

Baker: Six months after my MC robbed a bank, a familiar face moved in next door - the manager of the bank we'd robbed. She had no idea who I was, but I never forgot the faces of my victims. Especially when they were as smokin' hot as she was.

What a disappointment!

I have listen and loved SH’s other MC series. I was so excited for this book to come out and now I am totally bummed. First off, the narration by Rudy Sandra was awful. If You have read my other reviews, you will note that it is rare that I am critical about a narrator. Narrating takes a lot of talent and I admire those who possess the talent because I do not have it. I’m sure that there is a book that would be appropriate for his voices; a MC romance is not it. His voices are too feminine and almost cartoonish. It ruined the characters’ images for me. Second, the plot started out ok but, soon got ridiculous. What kind of 1% club would dare ride a foreign bike or skinny jeans. The plot was all over the place and the Conflict that happens at the beginning of the book is never truly explained. The SH books I’ve listened to before have elicited powerful emotional reactions from me, this one barely held my attention. I’m returning this book so my vote is that I do not believe it is worth a credit.

narrators were disappointing

The voices and cadence didn't fit well with the images of the characters portrayed. I previously read the book, which I loved, and was looking forward to the audio version unfortunately I wasn't able to listen to the complete audio.
