The museum, located on the campus of Southern Oregon University, is getting ready to unveil the Bard’s lost manuscript, Double Falsehood, which is being touted as the greatest artistic discovery of modern times. In addition to molding luscious, silky chocolate into magnificent structures, Torte will be serving an authentic Elizabethan feast straight from the pages of a 16th-century cookbook featuring Lardy cakes, Frangipane tarts, and jellies with chestnut cream.

Jules has underestimated the amount of work required to pull off such a culinary feat. She finds herself in the strange position of feeling frazzled and stressed as the day of the gala approaches. However, her team rallies around her, and once the massive works of chocolate art are safely installed at the museum, she can finally let out a sigh of relief and revel in the excitement of the grand celebration. But her relief is short-lived. Right before the unveiling, news quickly begins to spread that Shakespeare’s lost manuscript is missing. Not only that, but the security guard tasked with keeping the priceless artifact safe has been killed. Is this a case of a heist gone terribly wrong? Or could it be that a killer is lurking in the museum archives?

Poor Ashland. Always a murder!

It’s good storytelling. I wish the author didn’t have to talk about the winking and Jules telling herself not to look for trouble in every book. Still enjoyable

Loved this book

I did not like the narrator....She is a good OSF
actress but did a marginal job with bringing the characters to life like previous narrator's....

Another Good One

It’s like spending time with friends to get another book in this series. The continuity of characters and the reading is delightful.

Narrator lacking

I liked this story but I didn’t like that the narrator could not do The Javier, Carlos or Rosa accent. The previous narrator did Carlos’ accent very well so when there wasn’t one with this book, it was very noticeable.

I wish I could give this zero stars.

I only finished it out of spite. I really disliked the narrator. The plot was boring and slow. The characters were one dimensional. I regret using my credit on this.

Didn’t like the narrator

Similar to all the other books. Which I enjoy. They are light and cute. But missed the old narrator. Don’t love this one and sad to see she’s narrating the next book as well. This may be end of my listening to them.
