Publisher's Summary

From New York Times bestselling author Aurora Rose Reynolds comes the second book in the steamy, witty, and hilarious How to Catch an Alpha series.

Chrissie doesn’t have time for guys, hot or otherwise; most days, she barely has time to sleep. With a thriving bakery that demands her attention and plenty of proof that relationships aren’t worth the trouble, she’s content to go it alone. Too bad she’s unwittingly baited Mr. Tall, Dark, and Way Too Gorgeous - and he’s just waiting for a chance to bite.

Gaston is used to getting what he wants, but he also knows nothing good ever comes easy. From the moment he meets Chrissie, he realizes that this woman who makes him laugh, smells like cupcakes, and looks like a tasty snack is going to be his greatest challenge. And if he’s lucky, she’ll be his biggest reward.

But someone else wants to catch Gaston at all costs - even if it means endangering the lives of the people he loves. Somehow Gaston must thwart danger and convince Chrissie that he’s the perfect catch.

Great story

A really good love story. I laughed out loud about the alien parts. To the narrators, you gave the story life. Jason Clarke, I absolutely love your deep voice. To the author, I always enjoy your books. Thank you.

So glad to find a simple Romance

I like a good romance, but they’re hard to find as most authors follow the same weary constructs. This one didn’t have a bad boy in sight that the heroine was required to reform (and we all know that can’t be done). Nor were there a host of problems besetting the lovers, keeping them apart till the very end. And though the heroine had some reservations, she didn’t put him off for months (or tears) on end, making him feel like a teenage boy pining for her attention. And they didn’t have to dodge bullets or other lethal murderous acts to make it back to each other. What a relief! Well the author did give them a few problems to overcome, it wasn’t between the lovers.

Thank you For such a likable romance. I’ll look for your other book so that I won’t have to be waiting for the next shoe to drop to annoy me with the Artificiallyinserted problems that other authors feel the need do you use.

Baiting Him

Ms. Reynolds books are always great and this book did not disappoint! Loved how they met and the instant connection. The push and pull of relationship was just the right amount. Sweet ending too. Wonderful read. Thank you. Only one suggestion, use a different female narrator. Amanda Ronconi or Amy McFadden would be great.

Cute story, not too angsty

I was eagerly waiting on this book and was not disappointed. It was a cute boy-meets-girl story. Not too much baggage and drama on either side. Easy read/listen

Enjoyable

A good addition to the series. No need to have read the first one as this one stands on it's own even though the characters from the first are in a couple of minor scenes. The H's name got annoying. He is introduced as Gaston, but everyone calls him Gus. Except the h. So every time she think of him or says his name, I naturally start singing Gaston from Beauty and the Beast. I wish they'd just gone with Gus for 90% of his name mentions. Anyway, a good insta-love story with a man so perfect you can't help but fall in love with him, too!

Lovely

This was a good book. I liked it as much or better than Catching Him. Baiting Him is the second book of the How to Catch An Alpha series. I still haven't found a book by Aurora Rose Reynolds I didn't like.
I smiled a lot as I listened to this love story.

Beautiful story.

A lot of sweetness, a little bit of crazy and a whole lot of hotness. Gaston and Chrissy’s story is beautiful, very easy to read/ listen to. This book is the perfect expect from the everyday life.
