Classic Preston and Child

When I say classic, I mean that in a good way and in a bad way. This is so similar to some of their other books I had to check to see if I had read it before. It was like deja vu. A little too formulaic. However, as always it is a well-researched, thrilling read with lots of twists and turns. I always learn something from their books. The performance was decent, but I don't feel the narrator's voice portrays Agent Swanson accurately. Doesn't sound like an agent.

Amazing story

The authors continue to build their universe and the characters within it. The pace of the story is phenomenal and it sets up the next installment.

A great story with lots of adventure and excitement. Love this story very much and recommend it.

Narrator does not enhance book

Voices all sound alike by this female narrator. Men's voices are grating on the ear. Detracts from enjoyment of audiobook.

favorite characters are back but a bit of a slow burn to the suspense

I really love the Nora Kelly series but for some reason the story took a while to really pick up and was missing the usual feeling of danger and intrigue until the last 20% of the novel. Skip is still a bit of an idiot. Regardless, I look forward to the next installment! Creature feature? sea coast town in danger on founders day? fingers crossed.
