A treat, salty & sweet
I liked this installment in the lola sphinx cozy mysteries! I cant wait to see how the storyline of different worlds and IMA is resolved. For some reason this story didn’t keep me as interested as the first 3... but its still very good. Narration is good!

Cute Paranormal Cozy Mystery
This is a sweet, fast listen. The story continues to build on previous ones. While it does have its own mystery, there is an overall arc that builds from story to story. In some ways, not bad ways, this is more like a serial than individual books. Even so this a fun, lighthearted story - well worth reading.
This all being said, four books in, I still find the same issues as in the previous books. The narrator has a pleasant voice, but she pauses in weird spots in a sentence. Very distracting. She also sometimes attempts voices, sometimes doesn't. Choose one! And the voices she tries are not very well done. Lastly, the story is interrupted several times with the author's appeal for reviews. I wouldn't mind if this was at the beginning or end of the story. And I understand how important reviews are. But this makes me not want to listen to more of her books. I'll finish this series, just because I want to see how the overall arc ends, but I doubt I'll get others by this author and this narrator.
