Publisher's Summary

Asa

I never forgot her...Noni, the woman just as unique as her name who never failed to light a fire inside me. The last time I saw her I was in a bad place, a dark one that actually sent me to the Big Apple today. I was in the city to lead another one of my late father's corporate divisions yes, but running, escape, had been my true plan of intent. I had lots to get away from, my sins a laundry list, and it had been she, Noni, who got me out of them the last time. She did more than just fill a void. She fixed my messed up soul no matter how brief a time.

So why had I let her go?

Noni

I came upon him in a similar state before...desired by women. They flocked to the man like groupies to a tour bus and however naively, I had been one of them over four years ago. A vulnerable place sent me to vacation in Aspen and it had been Asa who found me, made me moan, made me forget and I didn't come away from that vacation unchanged. He gave me the most wonderful little blessing I could ever receive, my son Jalen.

Contains mature themes.

Repetitive and a bit boring

I'm struggling to finish this. The characters are reflecting more than taking actions. And how many times am I going to hear about how beautiful or how handsome these people are? I want to hang on for the bombshell that would be dropped on Asa, but I just know that its going to be a dud of a reflectionfest as well. I'm enjoying the male narrator.

Good Read

I liked the story. it didn't blow me away. deff had great parts but I like raunchy and this was a little vanilla. but it was super adorable. I want to find out if Willa will finally get her man. Like maybe a Rock Star.

Could have been a little longer…

But really enjoyed this story. I would have liked more of the backstory to have been told as part of the plot at the beginning of the book, not in flashbacks. Troy Duran’s voice—wow! The man deserves his props. He could read the political editorials and make them sound sexy. Thank you Mr. Duran. Thank you Ms. Smith for writing beautiful stories.

Awesome!

What an awesome book! I’m curious about the other stories like Willa’s and the twin brother Andrew. Glad I took a chance on this one.

Baby be mine by Victoria H Smith

Love this story and the main characters they had a difficult time getting together because they had been hurt by people they trusted and loved but when they got passed their fears it became a beautiful love story. Recommend this book.

Be mine

The story would probably be much better without the female Chandra Skyye reading it. She read it without emotion or inflection, I had to make myself sit through this. She sounds like a computer.

It’s not terrible

Troy was a saving grace, the female voice grated my nerves like she went out of her way to over enunciate each word and she sound like she is exhausted and possibly falling asleep the entire story. I’d recommend trying another female voice.
