Does your child have a hard time slowing down at bedtime?
Maybe their body is tired, but their mind is still racing. Worries, big emotions, excitement, frustration, or self-doubt make it difficult to settle down. Or perhaps bedtime has become a nightly struggle when everyone simply wants a peaceful end to the day.
This book was created to make those final moments of the day calmer, gentler, and more meaningful.
Inside this collection are soothing bedtime stories for children, each featuring a character who faces a relatable challenge and learns a simple skill that can help in everyday life.
Through imaginative adventures and comforting stories, children discover how to:
Build confidence and self-worthPractice mindfulness and stay presentRecognize and understand big emotionsLet go of self-doubtLearn from mistakes instead of fearing themUse breathing to feel more peacefulFrom an energetic squirrel learning to pause before acting, to a young dragon discovering how to stay in the present moment, each story offers a gentle lesson without feeling like a lesson.
Children can follow characters as they learn to watch their thoughts instead of chasing them, name their emotions, listen to quiet sounds, practice gratitude, release frustration, remember past successes, and discover peaceful places in their imaginations.
And most importantly, the stories are designed to wind down rather than wind children up.
These aren't simply stories about going to sleep. They are stories about growing, learning, and becoming more confident.
Because bedtime can be more than the end of the day.
Whether your child is naturally energetic, has a busy imagination, gets caught up in worries, or simply needs a little help transitioning from daytime excitement to nighttime calm, these gentle tales provide a comforting way to settle down.
Make bedtime easier—one calming story at a time.

I particularly liked the ideas around breathing, recognizing emotions and remembering past successes. The lessons are worked naturally into the adventures rather than feeling like someone is teaching the child. The stories also have a peaceful feel that works really well for bedtime.
A lovely collection for helping children relax while also giving them some useful ways to handle big feelings.

The different characters face challenges that many children can understand, such as worrying, feeling frustrated, doubting themselves, making mistakes, or simply having difficulty slowing down. Instead of turning these situations into lectures, the lessons are incorporated naturally into imaginative stories. Children are introduced to ideas such as breathing calmly, recognizing emotions, practicing gratitude, staying in the present moment, and remembering previous successes.
