I decided to write this book because I don't know how much time I have left. I suppose none of us do, but between my body falling apart due to rheumatoid arthritis and the very uncertain future of my platform, I wanted a way to say "goodbye" instead of just disappearing one day without a word or a farewell.

I also think a book would be better than a video. I've always been a better writer than a speaker anyway. My brain often goes faster than my mouth, causing me to trip over my words. I'm prone to rambling aimlessly without someone to keep me on track. Sometimes I just forget where I was going as my train of thought careens off the tracks, leaving no survivors.

If you've listened to my live streams, you're well aware of these habits, which is why I'm distilling my thoughts into a book.

T.F. Monkey is a complicated person who lived a life that shows adversity is a good teacher, especially when you don't have the best role models in your life. Many of us do not get a good grounding is finance and how money actually works. This book covers many of the lessons he learned as he moved through his life. I know enough about his life to know he had a very challenging life and has done much better than his peers he grew up with. That is a good place to look for ideas. You will not agree with every lesson or opinion, but even the ones I do not agree with it is a good mental exercise to think through arguments you may not agree with. There is endless good advice in the book and even if you just used part of it or implemented the advice partially you will be better off than learning the hard way. It is also a good to learn that even if you have points of disagreement with someone everything is life does not have to be polarized like the world looks through the news. I am amazed at the places in life where I have learned the best lessons and it has taught me look for wisdom in unusual places. It is a short book but it was definitely worth the listen and just missing one of life's mistakes can make a huge difference in your outcome.

A valuable book of advice for life.
