Four years after the great battle at Rony’s birth, Midgard stands in a tense calm — a “phony war” masking the rise of darker powers. Visigothic: On Destiny’s Edge continues the sweeping saga of King Sigurd, Queen Gwynnalyn‑Brunehilde, and the royal houses of Tervingia as love, prophecy, and war collide.
Sigmund Volsung, newly knighted and named Duke of Wodenburg, reunites with Princess Eileza Andavarsdottir of the Dwarrow. Their long‑delayed love rekindles into a renewed troth, a promise forged in firelight and sealed beneath the spring moon. Yet joy in Thorstadt is tempered by turmoil: Greta Volsung’s controversial betrothal to Lord Radagaisus divides the royal sisters, while whispers of taverns, hemp lodges, and old loyalties unsettle the court.
Beyond the mead‑hall hearth, the Guardians of Midgard gather at Thorstadt Stonehenge. Their visions foretell calamity: Hister’s black tower rises like a new Babel; the All‑Seeing Eye nears completion; and monstrous allies join his cause — Centaurs, Satyrs, Slaughter‑Wolves, and the lingering Gargoyles of Dragos. Prophecies tighten around Molly O’Hurleyhune, the Maiden of the Carven Stone, whose unborn child glows with holy fire. The Heart of the Sea remains the last safeguard against Hister’s designs.
When Sigmund leads an ambassadorial mission eastward across the Hyrcannian Steppes — accompanied by Eileza, Shamus and Molly, their children, Fauns, Leprechauns, and Tervingian knights — disaster strikes. Centaurs under Taxiarchos Adrastus and Satyr hoplites under Tagmatarchis Eurbiades ambush the caravan, kidnapping Molly, Liam, and the Faun child Rocky. The attack shatters the illusion of safety and thrusts Sigmund into his first true test as a commander.
In Thorstadt, King Sigurd convenes a secret war council. With less than ninety days to rescue the stolen children, he forms a new holy order: the Knights of Víðarr, named for the Aesir lord of righteous vengeance. Queen Gwynnalyn is appointed Grandmaster, joined by Lord Gedron, Sergeant Hardrada, the House Carls, Sigmund and his companions, Eileza, the Dwarrow twins Austri and Vestri, the Spirit Maidens, Elves, Fauns, Leprechauns, and allies from Brython, Gergovia, and Byzantium. Their quest: sail to Cyclops Island, confront Centaurs, Satyrs, Minotaurs, and the cannibal king Minus, and bring the children home.
As the queen prepares to depart, King Sigurd launches his own campaign westward, seeking to break the power of Scythia and end the Midgard War once and for all. Families share tearful farewells; children cling to parents; and warriors brace for a journey into fire, sea, and myth.

On Destiny’s Edge is a tale of courage, family, prophecy, and the desperate fight to protect the innocent in a world sliding toward darkness.
