The book of Romans explains the gospel of Jesus Christ and reveals that both Jews and Gentiles are under sin and need God’s righteousness. Paul teaches that righteousness comes through faith, using Abraham as an example of one who was justified by faith before the giving of the Law. Romans shows that salvation is God’s gift, not the result of human works, and explains God’s faithfulness to His promises. The letter calls believers to live by faith, walk in the Spirit, and offer their lives in obedience to God.
