Claire Kent is an auto buy author for me. I love all of her books. This was a great story in the post apocalyptic world she’s created along with other spinoffs. Absolutely loved it.

Another little trip into Claire Kent's fascinating Post Apocalyptic world. This time we get 24 year old Lilah that runs into and and decides to go with a traveling group of tough surviving scavengers. Logan is the leader, and for a side character he is compelling, as he teaches Claire how to you can be 'decent enough' in their world, but not really 'good', not if you want to survive. Logan assigns the Giant and Silent Deck to keep close to the newcomer, Lilah. Deck teaches Lilah how to defend her self in a fight, Lilah teaches Deck how to use ASL to communicate. Their love story is so cute. I love reading about this world. I have read several of Claire Kent's books, and I plan on buying more.
