Excellent opening book in a series.

I really enjoyed this book. It has a likable MC who is both intelligent and clever. The supporting cast is each unique with their own strengths and weaknesses, and the plot leads to an excellent conclusion along with an interesting twist for the next book I highly recommend it

Awesome series

I loved this! Audible doesn't have Crimson & Ash 2 yet and I've been avoiding the spoilers being posted over on Patreon while 3 is being written. Can't wait to get more of this when Audible catches up with what is available. The characters are perfect and the storyline progressed well. I really enjoy the underdog style main character. Right from the beginning with the scene of the guards chasing Ash, I couldn't put it down.

Good character building Great narration Awesome Storyline and multiple different plots to keep your attention where it has best effect. 110% must have ending makes you want the next book now.

Great Start to a new Series

The narration and separation of the characters through that narration is very good. I can understand when different characters speak. The story is interesting and i am eager to find out what the next mess Ash and friends will get into.

So much fun.

I’ve been a Shane Hammond fan from early on. He’s one of the few authors that writes harem literature more enjoyably than most. I loved the narrators and the spectrum of voices. I especially loved the “giggles” and “exclamations” acted out so well.

Does it follow somewhat previous formulas? Yes, but Hammond’s writing has grown better and characters deeper with each series. The storyline here is well crafted and will be fun to experience.
