War is coming.

En Ward survived his first months at Ascension Academy, forming powerful bonds with beautiful Marked women and discovering abilities that shouldn't exist. But his enemies haven't been idle. The Red-Eyed Queen has united the rival academies under her banner, and she wants En dead—or worse.

When war is declared, En must do the impossible: infiltrate Selene Academy, the heart of enemy territory, and turn the Queen's own forces against her. But the mission brings him face-to-face with Raven Ashford—the Queen's deadly daughter, a woman forged into the perfect weapon through years of brutal conditioning.

As En's bonds deepen with Alice, Cynthia, Iris, and the enigmatic Headmistress Eva, he'll discover that his purification abilities can do more than cure corruption—they can break the chains of mind control itself. New allies will join his cause. New enemies will test his limits. And a descent into the legendary Demon Tower will reveal truths about the prophecy that could change everything.

But the Queen isn't finished. Her assault on Ascension will force En to make an impossible choice—and the consequences will reshape the world forever.

Love this series and anxiously awaiting the next audio installment. The author and narrator both do an excellent job with the story.

Wonderfully titillating story!

So book 1 & 2 could’ve been just 1 book. This one was

Sex, drama,sex,drama,sex,action,SEX,end

Sex sex sex

For me it needed more substance, the first book was better balanced and spaced out.

75% sex 20% drama 5% fighting

The first entry was good, but this entry feels like the author had someone else write or simply chose not to keep up with the original's continuity.

Just to give a few examples without having to go into heavy spoilers:

En (MC), as far as we know, hasn't completed his first year at the academy. Yet, prior to his entry into the Academy he parted ways with his childhood friend and now, during their reunion it's been 'years' of separation instead of the months that it should of been.

The MC is allowed to accompany a sole defector behind enemy lines by himself without guards for a rescue operation. Yet, how would two people potentially carry a malnutritioned prisoner, while escaping pursuit?

How does the MC in a locked prison room, with one entry, bypass the locked door and guards to escape? The story transitions into escaping thru halls and passageways without any context.

Enemies that are said to be true believers and zealots in a prophecy, easily backtrack when someone points out that the prophecy might be misleading. Yet, they're suppose to be true believers and zealots... someone else's interpretation should not matter.

These were just a few that struck out to me. The story quickly devolves from any suspension of disbelief.

Inconsistencies and contradictions
