Oh that darn twist. Continuing to piece together her fragmented memories, Mara runs off to where it all began. She's again in a danger she had no idea was still coming for her. Thankfully Konstantin was a very calculated planner and got to her in time and then squirrel her away for her safety. I knew it, he waa still lying to her about the past and boy did she give him he-1-1. These two were still inevitable, but the story had to keep going and the reader needed to box this up with a bow. I was thoroughly invested and Jagger did not disappoint. All these books had some 6 degrees of separation as their family ran in small bratva circles and primal underground. I have enjoyed this dark Academia series so much.

This whole series was phenomenal in audio. Dual narration with Auri Alden and Aaron Shedlock was the best choice. I was there the whole time, edge of my seat. Thanks to both for such an enjoyable performance.

*I do feel I have to age these characters up a little in my mind only because for me it's a little far fetched to be flying everywhere on private planes and expensive luxuries with barely old enough adults. Some might say due to their pasts, they are more mature than those who are of similar age. 🤷‍♀️

This did not disappoint

Audio narrators are incredible in this book and the whole series! This was my first time reading this authors books, and I can’t wait to read the rest of them.
