It was okayyyy

There were some sweet parts. But there were soo many more parts where I rolled my eyes. Hard. 😂
Cute, annoying, predictable. But who doesn’t love a HEA.

Nice story, but...

The story was written and performed well. The story was believable but predictable. If you like reading about women that beg men for attention and love, this is for you. I personally prefer reading about confident women that men are obsessed with. The story was good and had heartfelt moments but not my preference.

it wasn't the worst story ever but I almost stopped listening a couple of times.... Stella and her choices annoyed the heck out of me, had to turn off my thinking brain and frankly the spice wasn't worth the IQ points I had to sacrifice

Typical trope with typical ending.

Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the book... until the epilogue and extended epilogue anyways. Why every book has to end in marriage and babies, I will never know. But it's nauseating. It should be listed in the trigger warning. I'd have stopped before the epilogue.
But the rest is great. The up and down and push and pull between the main characters, and the third party men. There's still a plot that keeps you captivated when there's no spice going on, and the characters have developing arches.
So, if you like the typical gag worthy HEA with an age gap couple, with a fiercely independent woman and a billionaire older man, this book is for you.
