Juma is very transparent about his own failures and triumphs. He makes clear with Scriptures that even though you walk through barren and dry places God is with you. God loves you, cares for you, and wants you to grow in Him. God has not promised an easy road but promises to take us through. Change and changing feels like death. But through cutting and pruning God will transform us into another man/ woman. If you desire to grow in your walk with God I recommend this book wholeheartedly.
