Good romance, not so interesting plot, but elite narration!

I came for the story, stayed for Gabriel Spires’ voice and Mollie Stark carrying the entire experience.
The audiobook is narrated in dual.

Aria, a soft, artsy museum curator with major mommy issues, meets Damian, a 6’5 billionaire with emerald eyes, daddy issues, and zero respect for the word “no.” He gets obsessed fast, starts orbiting her like it’s a full-time job.

The romance works. It’s a very slow burn, which makes sense given their traumas.
The plot tries (art heist, drama, secrets), but it drags and gets messy. Honestly it wasn’t subtle and therefore a bit annoying past 60%. I cared way more about the characters (and honestly, Sophia half stole the book for me => the next book is hers so I will listen to it).

Good romance, questionable plot, elite narration. I complained and still kept listening.
