You’re not imagining it.

The people vanishing. The headlines that disappear. The unease you can’t quite name.

Caleb is a crisis PR fixer who specializes in erasing scandals—until a classified file crosses his desk and shatters everything he thought was safe.

What begins as a routine cover-up spirals into a hidden war involving experimental memory tech, missing children, and a broadcast that was never meant to air.

Pursued by agents, activists, and ghosts from his past, Caleb must decide what he believes—and who he becomes—when every version of the truth is weaponized.

Truth is the first book in The Redacted Series, a cinematic psychological thriller about surveillance, manipulation, and the dangerous stories we tell ourselves to survive.

The narrative voice in this book is great because it feels like you are right there with Caleb as his safe, controlled life starts to crumble. Having a main character who knows how the sausage is made in politics adds a level of cynicism that makes the eventual twists feel even more shocking. It is a well-constructed thriller that focuses more on the intellectual side of a conspiracy, showing how information is the most powerful weapon any person can actually possess.

This book did that slow, unsettling thing where you don’t realize how deep you’re in until you’re already questioning everything. If you like psychological thrillers that feel uncomfortably close to reality, especially ones dealing with surveillance, memory, and manufactured truth, this is worth the listen.

Truth A Conspiratorium Novel. Truth is the first book in The Redacted Series, a cinematic psychological thriller about manipulation, surveillance and the dangerous stories people tell themselves ourselves to survive. I don't want to drop a spoiler alert but this story is about Caleb a crisis PR fixer who specializes in covering tracks and erasing scandals, until this particular classified file crosses his desk and shatters his entire belief system, because it's not a routine cover up.

This is a great beginning to what looks like a very exciting series. The plot is simple: a man finds a secret he shouldn't have, and now he has to survive. What makes it special is the world of crisis fixing and how easy it is to hide the truth from the public. Caleb is a smart character, and I liked seeing him figure out the mystery piece by piece. The pacing is perfect, with enough action to keep things moving and enough mystery to keep you thinking. I’m definitely going to listen to book two.

A cool new series
