Trapped by the blizzard, Kate has to single-handedly preserve the crime scene and discreetly begin her investigation, all while keeping the ruffled birders calm. But she soon realizes that each of the bird-watchers has something to hide... and more than one of them had a reason to want the victim gone. Secrets run deep, and as the snow piles higher, so do the lies. With the murderer still among them and no chance of escape, Kate must untangle the deadly truths beneath the snow to avoid becoming prey to a killer in this flock.

I miss her when I don’t have a fresh story to listen to. Such great stories.

Good story I did not want to stop listening

The narration of the Kate fox series is the best. She is such a good story teller her narration pulls you in

Could be a stand alone

it could be a stand alone book. it has few progressions to the on going plot
still enjoyed but was hoping to continue the plot points from the previous books

I love this series!

I really like the characters and their growth throughout this series. This book was a good and set up the next one nicely.

Good story

As always a good story with a great narrator. I love her books and read them as fast as she writes them.

The little details of places and descriptions.

I really have enjoyed the Kate Fox Series. At times it is a bit corny but the story lines are good. I like that there is always a continuation from book to book on some things but the new mystery always hooks me in more.

Same Kate Fox but a new twist

It’s good to not hear the same story over again like other books. Theres a change in family dynamics and a moral dilemma that helps make this book more entertaining than just another repeat book in the series.

Good story, but it was surprising that Kate didn’t catch on to some of the clues sooner than later. It was nice to hear Louise not so difficult for once and it was nice to get to know Deeney.

Needs more romance.

I didn't like that Baxter and Kate didn't interact more. I understand Kate is supposed to be an amateur detective. Her skills are on point. I expected some romance with her and Baxter as well as a good detective story.
