The world building is vivid, the characters feel like family, and the action had me on the edge of my seat. A fun ride

This is a fun and enjoyable ride. I enjoyed the world building and interesting cast of characters, each with the own strengths and complexities. I like how they have to work together to achieve their goals through the trials. Fans of fantasy adventure will enjoy this story.

I just finished The Shadow Trials and wow, this one really pulled me in. I loved the first book in the Starweaver Academy series, but this sequel raises the stakes in every way. Finn stepping into command of the Tidebreaker felt so natural, and I loved how much focus was put on the crew as a whole.
