Average Locked Room Mystery

While not a great story, it is definitely worth a credit. I liked the way the characters were introduced and their individual stories told throughout the book. I said average because the murders were not particularly creative, but the book ends up with a neatly tied conclusion in the epilog.

It was fun, but it wasn’t great

I agree with the comments about the narrator. They were an awful lot of accents in this book and I understand that has to be very difficult for the narrator, but the American accents weren’t that good and even the Yorkshire accent I didn’t think was very good and that’s a British accent. I wasn’t crazy about the end, but if I’m honest, I don’t know if any ending would’ve been fabulous in my mind. It was fun. I’m not sorry that I listened to it.

I didn’t want to stop listening.

The narrator did well with the characters, differentiating, accents. I didn’t like the sharp, shininess of Millie. But that may have been the point.

I don’t understand the bad reviews. I liked the book. It was complex and by the end I felt I understood each character. I finished the book in 2 days.
