The series so far is interesting but..

The story concept about magic and dragons is interesting but the storyline is too choppy. There are lots of unanswered questions from the first book that have not been answered in the second book. The transition from character to character could be smoother. I found myself lost multiple times because one character was being discussed and suddenly there was a shift to a different situation and a whole new character. I had to rewind multiple times to keep up with what had just happened. And there was not always a why did that just happen. A little more background on the main characters would be helpful. At least two characters are a waste of story time.

I do like the narrator her voices are very good. I think the narrator is why I am sticking to the series for now.
