Devious Lies is the second book in the Jersey Bad Boys series. This story is about Maria and Luc. For total understanding of all the characters and this world, please start at book one. Maria needs protection and Luc steps in to help. He wants her and wants to know her secrets. This book grabs you at the beginning and keeps you enthralled until the very end. Elle Sonali and Mick Fanning were both spectacular in their narration of this story. They did an outstanding job of bringing this story to life. I highly recommend listening to this audiobook.

Maria’and Luc

C.D. Gorri brings excitement and intensity to Maria and Luc’s story. Maria ran away from her home, after her father was killed. In hiding for 6 years, she returned home when her mother was sick. Maria hoped for protection after she started work at the Den.
She caught the eye of Luc who is the head of the Vipers.
This story is intense, full of chemistry and steam between them .
Elle Sonali and Mick Fanning are new narrators for me.They told this story with emotions and passion.thank you for a great listen.

Fantastic.

The story is fantastic and the audiobook is awesome ! Elle Sonali and Mick Fanning brings this romantic story by C. D. Gorri to life with a morally gray MMC and a sweet MFC to life. I really enjoyed listening to this steamy story.

Fantastic!

I have read the books and they were amazing, but listening to them on audio put them on a whole different level. The narrators did such an awesome job! They have made these bad boys my new favorite genre to listen to. The way Luc and Nico love their women makes my heart swoon. I can't wait to hear Angel and Giselle's story!

Mafia Romance

Book 2 in the series. This was an easy read/listen with likeable characters and storyline. There were some slow parts for me but overall I stayed engaged/interested in the book from start to finish.

Angsty goodness!

Once again, the narrators delivered a fantastic performance! Had me totally immersed! The story is phenomenal with angst, secrets, a possessive MMC and a curvy MFC, and of course the spice was spicing! Love this series!! Onto the next!

Luc & Mia!

These two narrators do a fantastic job at narrating this story. I love dual narrations so it makes the book like they are actually talking to you.

We met Maria in book one, and now we get to know why she came to the Vipers Den and it wasn’t to be a bartender.
See the thing is Luc has been watching her, from the day she walked in the door. He stayed in the background thinking she wanted his brother Nico but…

Luc knows she is hiding something, Maria knows she picked the wrong brother all along.
Luc is going to turn her world upside down, and she best hang on tight.
Book two in this series has blown my mind. It’s filled with lies yes but so much more.
We get HOT, Action-packed, and an Alpha male at his finest.

Tension, Thrills, and Fiery Romance

No unnecessary drama or mind games—which I always appreciate. The story was filled with passion, danger, and devotion. When Luc went into protection mode, it was my happy place! The tension kept things interesting, and the chemistry was strong throughout. The narration did a great job of bringing the story to life, making it an engaging listen from start to finish. I’m definitely looking forward to the next book!

Luc & Maria

I thought that C.D. Gorri's last series was my favorite, but I think Jersey Bad Boys may be my favorite now!!
I thought Nico was my favorite, but Luc takes the cake 🥵
Once I dived into this book, I couldn't put it down.
With the perfect blend of romance, spice, and suspense, this book is easily a five-star book!
C.D. Gorri has done it again, and I can't wait for the next book!

Jersey in the House!!

I love me some spicy romance, and being from Jersey originally, I really loved this story! The narrators did a great job as well, I can’t wait to listen to the other two in the series. The characters were spot in, the drama was on point, and I love me a good HEA.
