Narration

Perfect narration… well it would had been perfect if it were in duet style. MFC really pisses me off throughout the story.

Long

Very long…and it’s only book one! This book seemed to take FOREVER! I kept checking to see how much longer it was… That said, it just didn’t seem to flow for me. The story isn’t all that original, the conflict isn’t really anything we haven’t heard before. It just wasn’t a winner for me. The narrators did a good enough job though, so that’s why I gave their performance 5 stars.

Great spice but predictable story

I really wish the FMC hadn’t come off as so fragile. I found myself being annoyed a lot. Not sure why she had to be roughed up by his men when they first took her if she was supposedly his “guest”. It wasn’t compelling enough to entice me to the second book despite the cliffhanger ending. I feel pretty tepid about the characters and I’m disinterested in finding out their fates.

Too long

I wish FMC wasn’t so weak and wining (emotional narration made the pain to listen even bigger) and I wish this book was like 1/4 long. Lets run from the safe place, who’d expect it would end other than bad. Both narrators did great job which made FMC look even more useless. I didn’t want to skip but it was really hard to finish this book listening, even at higher speed. Have been a wasted credit.
