The story was fast paced.

I liked the action and the pacing. The author knows the subject and it shows. I look forward to reading more.

Great read (listen)

Starts off in present day with all the upheaval that’s going on. Quite a stark picture at points, but very relatable characters throughout. I’m looking forward to the next one!

A good man pushed to the limits

Being from the area this book is based around as well as being what some would consider conservative this book hits a soft spot for me, specially after seeing ANTIFA in action first hand. With POTUS Trump being re-elected in 2024 intelligence groups have been seeing reports of ANTIFA groups reestablishing, and regrouping, as well as they have not been idle these past few years with know ANTIFA members going to tactical shooting and training schools and their financial backing that has allowed them to purchase and use items like IMSI catchers. It will be interesting to see where this series goes. Thank you for a great story that I'll be recommending to family and friends.

Revenge is best served cold

Scary to think that what happened to the main character has actually happened. But thankfully 77 million Americans finally said enough is enough recently and maybe this woke nightmare will end

Great topic. Greatly needed. Good narration. Believable characters. Timely subject. All aspects of story tied up well.

Sometimes JUSTICE requires a personal touch

I really enjoyed this book. There were a couple of minor continuity/timeline issues early in the book, but they don't take away from the enjoyment of the book.

I find the main characters motivations and actions relatable, as there are many who experienced similar events as the main character and have been let down by our legal system.

Where is no.2???

Loved it!!! Waiting for the next one! Vigilantism isn't a bad thing, and won't be the next step.

Could happen to any of us

You may think you have it all. A career you’re proud of. A loving family. A home to call your own.

And then, one day someone, for whatever reason, decides you need to be ended.

You lose your job, because your employer has no interest in defending you.
You lose your reputation so you can’t get a new job and your friends ghost you.
Your personal life is in the media, eager to smear you for likes and clicks.
Your spouse is murdered, and the police are too overwhelmed and understaffed to help.
Your child is killed in a wrongful law enforcement raid.
You get charged for defending yourself, by a prosecutor with higher political aspirations.

Scary? It should be, because it could happen to any of us.

I’ll admit, this was a tough listen at first having a family of my own. So why do I recommend this book despite the very heavy, gut wrenching undertones? For one, the two authors are already great in their own right that you should support. I’m familiar with Mike Baron from various Marvel comics he’s worked on, and Blaine Pardoe from BattleTech and Land & Sea. But more than that, because there’s hope. Maybe not a lot, maybe even unlikely, but there’s still hope. And it’s worth fighting for.

Fight! Fight! Fight!

Well written and performed

Nice to have a story where the protagonist is an everyday guy and not an ex SF guy.

The story is relevant for the current culture we find ourselves in and will resonate with the everyday person.

Lots of character development with characters to root for and villains to revile. The story is a slow burn until violence action is required.

Looking forward to the continuation of the series.

Blane rolls out another winner!

Having been a fan of this author from his work in FASA and the blue dawn series I am pleased to see his work is still excellent! I Highly recommend Tenure!
