Caribbean Payback is study in geo politics. It’s good versus evil at its best. Michael J. Downey does an excellent job of bringing the story to life. His pronunciations and dialects give you a front row seat to all the action. This one is not to be missed!

Action Packed

Listened to this in the car on a long road trip and loved it. The vocal is great, particularly on all the colorful characters, really brought the plot to life. I probably like this book if I read it, but was so glad we did the audio; made for great ride as the miles and chapters flew by. Will definitely look for more from the vocal narrator as well as the author.

An action-packed story of military ops in Haiti

This audiobook provides 3 1/2 hours of content describing an action-packed peacekeeping mission in Haiti. The narrator takes the listener on a journey of uncertainty and suspense. I enjoyed the storyline as a military veteran who served with soldiers from numerous nations. Although a fictional account, I can attest to the real challenges multinational operations present. I also enjoyed how the Canadian military was at the center of the storyline. The characters were distinct and the narrators' ability to convey their emotions, excitement, and accents enhanced the listener's experience. My only disappointment is that books 2 and 3 in the series are not available in audiobook format.

Action packed story and great narration

I got to see Haiti through the authors story and learned about the hope of the people, the corruption of the leaders, and the unthinkable neglect of the world. The narrator puts you right there as though you are experiencing it first hand.

Fast Moving International Intrigue

I thoroughly enjoyed the story and the story telling. The narration was fun and brought a lot to my overall enjoyment! I'm looking forward to the next narration by Michael J. Downey.
