Since when is Dom French?!

The male audio is SO distracting. Never once is Dom described as being french or having an accent. It’s truly so distracting and takes away from the story, the story is great but I’m so dissapointed with the audio

Loving this series

I saw someone else say they hated the male narrator. I think both narrators did an excellent job! The accent was perfect!

Threw me off guard

It's my own fault because I like to go in blind but Dol never had a French accent in the previous audiobooks and during the countless times I've read the first 2 books I dont remember ever seeing it mentioned he has a fench accent. Maybe its just me but it caused so much of a distraction it was difficult to appreciate the book as much as the first 2 (both 5 stars for me) I just kept picturing the candle stick from beauty and the beast. It also threw me off that the book didn't reach a conclusion like the first 2 I'm assuming it's because the characters in book 4 will be mingled in the story line. I wish my AuDHD brain would allow me to still read books with my eyes so I could appreciate this book how it should have been because I feel like I'm doing a disservice to this amazing author. I will say though the narrators were amazing the male accent pick for Dom just kind of ruined it for me, if anyone finds a spot were it mentioned his accent in the previous books please let me know so my brain can process and change this rating 😭

Narration doesn’t match the character

This is about a black American football player in college and the narrator is doing a half German half French accent and it ruined the audio for me, the story overall is pretty good so read it instead of listening to it.

Storyline

I was excited about reading this book because Tod the storyline. It kept my interest through most of the book but the ending was horrible. It just ended.
