Intense, and great love story

I like the story I just wish in no in my country (Nicaragua) sadly I know that the actual government is not good, but the people are very humble and the country without the people that is governed right now is beautiful.
The story was very good it keep me listening, hope you add the stories of the rest of the ghost group.

Action and Suspense!

This is the second book in the Unbroken Heroes, a Romantic Suspense. This series is interconnected with Norcross Security and Treasure Hunter Security. Shepherd “Shep” and Hayden's story is entertaining, and suspenseful, full of action, danger, and twists and turns. Hayden is beautiful, smart, and strong. Shep is very handsome, and protective. They are perfect together. I liked the brotherhood and the friendship in the story. Ryan West and Mackenzie Cartwright did an outstanding job bringing this story to life. I enjoyed it! Looking forward to more in the series.

Danger, suspense, lots of bad guys, and lots of good friends!

Hayden Sinclair is a 28-year-old archeologist. She is working at a site in Nicaragua when she is ambushed and all of her co-workers and friends are murdered by gunmen. She also happens to be the daughter of the president of the US, and there are people out there who would pay big money to have Hayden under their control, and thus be able to control the president. She is taken hostage and held in a secret location, until the buyers can get there. Meanwhile, Shep Barlow is living alone in his cabin on a mountain in Colorado. Shep used to work in Ghost Ops for Vander Norcross, and when Vander shows up unannounced, Shep is ready to send him packing. He knows Shep has the unique skill set to rescue Hayden, but Shep really just wants to be left alone. After a little bit of time, Shep finally relents and heads to Central America to try to rescue Hayden. When he does, he learns that she is already in the process of rescuing herself! Nevertheless, they team up, because there are a LOT of people trying to find her. The bodies pile up as Shep and Hayden make their way to the rescue site, only to learn that it is no longer a usable rescue location. As usual, there is a plan B, C, D, etc. and they resort to using them as needed.

This audiobook is fast-paced and filled with danger and adventure. Ms. Hackett writes an engaging story that is compelling and engaging. There are the usual cast of bad characters that make rescue difficult, and they are determined to capture Hayden. Shep is just as determined to keep her safe. There is a big finale that does some harm, but eventually things work out exactly they way they are supposed to work out. Don’t start this story late at night, because you won’t want to put it down!

Ryan West and Mackenzie Cartwright do a beautiful job of narrating this exciting story. They use different voices to portray each character, and their voices are believable. They convey the emotion and the suspense that Hayden and Shep are faced with, and they bring a deeper intensity to this story. At one point, the protagonists are forcefully separated, and the emotions of that separation were heartbreaking to hear due to emotion portrayed through the voice of the narrator. Well done!

Amazing

This was a great book! I am happy to see Shep find a woman. He deserved someone who could keep up with him.

Shep's story didn't disappoint

Shep's story didn't disappoint. Hayden was the perfect woman to get him to change his priorities and thoughts on love. Tough, strong, and persistent she got under his walls. A fast-paced, action and suspense filled story as they fight for survival and lose their hearts to each other...ending with a much deserved HEA once they got theirs heads on straight. As always the narrators were superb at bringing the story to life.
