Cold. The first thing that comes to mind when I think of her.

The victory didn't last very long. My lack of experience with handling something so precious led me to make rookie mistakes, ones that cost me her heart and mine, too.

Who sent you after my heart? It's the question that plagued me each time he set out on my path.

His pockets were stuffed, and his accounts were limitless, affording him luxuries that not everyone had when it came to me. He didn't flinch at the notion that he had to pay to play. It enticed him. That was my type. He was my type. But he knew no boundaries.

His quest commenced the second our eyes met, my body hypnotizing him and everyone else in the room around us. Sadly, they were a blur. All I saw was him. Tenacity was his specialty. He was as confident as he was persistent, tireless in his efforts to retrieve the one part of me that I'd buried for safekeeping. And, once he had it in his grasp, like every other man I'd shamefully given it to, he crushed it.

Change up!

This series has been full of love,babies and marriage. This story took me by surprise cause that’s what I expected from it. These characters defined love on their terms and I’m here for it. I love how Ms. Huffington weaves her characters together and the time lapses allowing us to get a peek/ update of her other characters. I haven’t read or listened to one bad book from this author!

crazy in love

This was a great story. I knew that I like Lawe's little psychotic self. I loved the family dynamics and how Lawe found peace under Ms. Laura. There was genuine love and hurt felt throughout the book. I also enjoyed that Kleu was tall and had some thickness to her. I hate to see the Eisenberg series end but it was perfect. You could throw in a holiday special, IJS!

I love Lawe!

So Lawe was definitely annoying when he was first introduced to his other family. He truly grew on me. Lawe and Luca are my favorite brothers. I feel like I was actually a part of the story. I’m so glad Kleu got her act together because Lawe was really trying!

lawe is UNHINGED🤣🤣🤣🤣I LOVE HIM SO MUCH. He's such a sweet asshole with a persistence a woman wishes to feel 🥰

Loved it!

This was such a good book. Narrator’s were good, story was great. Clue and Lawe are great glad their story wasn’t like everyone else’s ending and they had their own version of happily ever after
