MC Romance

I enjoyed Rocket and Violeta's story. It was action-packed and steamy. I liked the storyline. Umi Markkanen did a great job with the narration.

Love it!

Rocket and Violetta are in a difficult situation. Violetta has been abused and was literally given to Rocket. Expecting the worst, Violetta finds the best and I love that. This book does deal with some sensitive topics, so make sure you read the warnings before listening.

Rocket

Umi Markkanen voice makes these stories amazing. This was Rocket and Violeta story. A pretty big age gap. This was a very sad story. Violeta was a strong-willed women though, she found the best in everything. I loved the action, storyline, and the characters.

Great audiobook

Wow this is a really great story I really enjoyed listening to this audiobook I really enjoyed this storyline the author did a great job with this novel the Narrator did a really great job telling this story

A Change of Plans

In the first book of the series, Spider, we were introduced to Violeta Gomez and her sisters and some of the horrors they endured while in their father's care. While those events are referenced, they aren't revisited. Instead something equally bad rears its ugly head. This is your warning to check your triggers.

He may have been manipulated a smidgen, but I love how Jesse "Rocket" Jones finally gets his act in gear even if things go off the rails. Heck, he goes off the rails a couple of times. Even so, I do like him, her, and their battered and bruised but never broken story. This is far from a rainbows and unicorn ending, but it's befitting them.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is the talented Umi Markkanen. She always does a good job with accents and the different male / female roles.
