Rhet Banner

My rules in life are simple: Never have a woman in your bed for more than one night. Never mix business with pleasure. Never fall in love. Blood above all else.

When life throws a new personal assistant at me, everything changes. I shouldn't want her, but I can't help it. She is breaking my focus, and all my "nevers" are turning into "maybes."

Zeeta Mitchell

My brother gave me an assignment, and the rules are simple: Get close to Rhet Banner. Win his trust. Don't fall in love.

So what if he smells like sin, spice, and everything nice? Or that he is a walking temptation? I can stay focused. It's not like I'm about to fall in love with him. How hard can this task be?

Can Zeeta and Rhet play by their rules, or will they learn that some rules are meant to be broken?

OMGOODNESS

I was hesitate to continue the book due to the male narrator. But the story and female narrator makes up for it. The spicy scenes were so good too!! Can’t wait to hear next books.

Spicy scenes 4/5

Loved! Loved! Loved!

I want more ! I want to hear stories about the whole friend group. How they all get their happily ever after.

Rhet is everything.

Love Rhet!! His “don’t give a fucks”made the story hilarious. I can’t wait for the other friend’s stories. Definitely looking forward to his little brother’s story. Love female reader. Wish Troy Durrant would have narrated the male character.

Tough start bu5 worth pushing through

I Really thought about dropping this book, as it took a while to get to the heart of the story. I ended up loving the heroine of this story. Once I finally got to meet her the book was great.

I also want to mention that I preferred the female narrator. I felt the male made some poor almost stereotypical woman intonations which were distracting and off pointing. I keep imagining how the female narrator would say the line to get past it.

loved it when I read it loved it when I listened

I wish the other stories come on out. This was excellent. The slow burn to the relationship, the back story. This was so well written and developed. come on KT where ate the others???:)
