A perfect name for this book!

Such a perfect name for Holden and Leni’s book!
Gregory Salinas and Vanessa Edwin narrates for us and gives us an inside voice of both Leni and Holden!
Leni falls hard and fast for Holden but Holden can’t find himself to be so open for love at least not at first!
I loved seeing Leni worm her way into Holden’s heart to the point that there was nothing he could do but surrender it to her!

One of the best series out! Next up is Tyson and watching him fall in love!

The PI and The Yogi

The sparks have been flying between Leni and Holden since he gave her his hoodie to wear following the burning of her yoga studio. He was in protector mode from that moment on. He's fine with no-strings relationships, but anything deeper than that is off limits. He refuses to live through the pain of heartbreak after his former fiancee decimated his heart. But as much as he wants to keep Leni at arm's length, Holden can't resist the pull he feels toward her. Vanessa Edwin and Gregory Salinas did an excellent job bringing these characters to life. They evoked emotion and passion which kept me listening from beginning to end.

Great!

It was great getting Holden and Leni’s story. I had been so looking forward to it since we first met them. The cherry on top was Leni’s grandma. She was wonderful.

Sometimes you just have to surrender to love

Leni and Holden were the slow burn that burst into flames that I needed in my life. No matter how hard Holden tried to pull away once those flames sparked, he knew Leni had a pull on him like no other. Having felt rejected most of her life doesn't stop Leni from going after what she wants, and she wants Holden something fierce. Try as he may, Holden can't seem to stay away. When he set his mind on putting distance between them he had no idea that distance would almost cost Leni her life. Ever the knight in shining armor, Holden rescues his love with seconds to spare and finally has to admit she has his heart and there is no going back. A.K. Evans has done it again with another amazing installment to the Cunningham Security Series!

An amgsty story with tender moments and suspense

Finally get to see Holden and Lennox dive into their attraction and feelings for each other in this story. Holden is a bit of a tortured sweetheart, struggling to come to terms with his thoughts and reactions to Leni, and luckily Leni isn't one to give up even though she has been through rough stuff herself. An angsty story with tender moments along side action, danger and suspense as these two flounder towards their HEA. The narration brings the characters to life.

Another wonderful addition to the series

The more I listen to this series, the more I have come to enjoy it. As a former yoga instructor, this one was extra especial.
If you have listened or read the previous stories, you met Leni/Lennox Ford. She’s the owner of the yoga studio that got burned down in the previous story.
We now learn that until the end of college, she was the rule follower and pleaser. Neither letting her be whom she truly wanted to be. The moment she stands for herself, her family disowns her.
Meanwhile Holden Locke, a member of Cunningham Security has always been a man that analyses everything and is by the book and self contained. But seeing Leni as she watches her studio be taken up in flames, that part of him he held inside, comes out for her.
Will these two get a chance of finding their HEA with each other or will the past keep them apart?
Another wonderful addition to the series where the narrators Vanessa Edwin and Gregory Salinas bring the story to life.

A Wonderful Story But Even Better in Audio!!

In Book 7 of the Cunningham Security series, we get to experience the love story between Holden and Leni. With connections to familiar characters from this nine-book series, as well as the original "Everything" series, this couple faces their own issues and tackles trouble that is brought to their doorstep. Danger and mystery stalls them a bit, but they forge ahead toward their HEA with all the fire, passion, and heart-tugging moments that are characteristic of a great A.K. Evans novel. Fans of Evans' work will love this couple, and new readers will find themselves drawn into the world and craving to go back and read everything that came before! A couple of years later, I'm sitting here devouring the audiobook performances of Gregory Salinas and Vanessa Edwin, and I simply couldn't stop listening. They are absolutely perfectly cast as Holden and Leni, and Ms. Edwin is quickly jumping high on my favorite female narrators list! Once again, I have the good fortune to enjoy a beloved story in a new, exciting way!

Overcoming the past for a better future!

After Leni's Yoga studio is burned down, Holden comes to her rescue. Not only comforting her in the aftermath, but also making sure she continues to have a place to do what she loves most. Everything Holden does for Leni shows how much he cares for her.

Holden & Leni are the perfect couple, if only Holden could move past the past. Holden has experienced heartbreak and thinks love is not in the cards for him. Leni feels pretty alone in life, until Holden shows up. Can she get Holden to open up about what's holding in back so they can have a real shot? These two were made for each other!! Both hurting from life's disappointments, but together they could have everything they ever dreamed of.

Each and every one of these stories have such a unique storyline with such different characters. Leni's grandmother sure brought so much to this story! I loved seeing the relationship they had. She loves deeply but doesn't cut Leni or Holden any slack and is such a wonderful addition to this storyline. I absolutely adored this book and can't wait for the next! I HIGHLY recommend reading this series in order. Usually, I would say it's not completely necessary, but I feel like this book really needs the book prior to it to understand the full story line. The narrators were amazing, as usual! I am always in awe of how well the voices pair together to bring so much more life to the story.

Will Holden Surrender?

Holden felt a strong attraction to Lenni when he rescued her from the fire. After being spurned in the past, he is unwilling to surrender to his feelings for her for fear of being hurt. Until he realizes that he can't live without her, but will it be too late? Superb writing and another great addition to this fabulous series. The narrators did an excellent job bringing Holden and Lenni to life with their voices.
