This is another great story by Timothy Zahn and another great performance by Marc Thompson.

It's been over 10 years since I've read this book and was excited to see it on unabridged audio. It didn't disappoint. This audiobook just has me craving more unabridged audiobooks from the legends series. This book, with a few mentions of a possible invasion by outside forces, definitely had me wanting The New Jedi Order series to be unabridged but I won't get my hopes up. For now, I'm just thrilled that they're taking the time to produce the unabridged versions of the legends books. I hope that they continue to use Marc Thompson as the primary narrator, because he is second to none with his performances in these books.

Finally Unabridged!!

Loved it! And loved the “Fools Bargain” story at the end. Narration was beautifully done. I love that he isn’t just reading the story, but acting it out for us as the background noise reflects in every scene.

Timothy Zahn and Marc Thompson do it again!!

A fantastic story and performance

I wish these would be made into movies instead of the revised junk they have fabricated at Disney. It is a great story with outstanding narration. Worth every penny!

Good story! Love the unabridged books

Great story and delivery! I’m hoping for more unabridged Star Wars audio books, I won’t even bother listening to the abridged ones just not enough detail

As I said above, I really recommend this novel to both EU enthusiasts and casual SW fans

Love the legends series

Love the EU and how it connected to outbound flight the book. Many great callbacks and I love Timothy Zahn. Loved learning more about the Chiss! This book makes me want to reread the Thrawn ascendency books and learn more about the Chiss race and their military! Its so good and as always Marc Thompson does spectacular with his voice acting with the characters.

A great time to listen again.

I've previously listened to the abridged version of this book years ago and enjoyed the opportunity to finally listen to the full book. I do hope they keep releasing the essential collection books as I know I will keep listening to them.
As for the book itself, Thompson does another amazing performance as the narrator and the story wraps up various loose ends left by the Thrawn books.

Amazing book and narration!

Timothy Zahn is an amazing author and his books have been consistently fulfilling. Combine that with Marc Thompson? Perfect combo. Marc Thompson never falters on the pristine quality of his narration and hope to hear more from him in the very near future. Story line was great and certainly provides closure to Outbound Flight. You won’t be disappointed!
