Sounded like they were reading from a list

I've been putting off writing this review because I'm having trouble finding the words to describe what felt wrong about this Audiobook... 1st, and most obviously, was the change in narrator from the previous book. It made the beginning of the book feel off & like it was a totally different series, as a result it took me several chapters to adjust to the different narrator. Even though the narrator for the 1st book sounded a bit emotionless, I still think it would've been better to stick with them rather than change the narrator. I hope that despite the things the narrators for these 2 books did wrong that the author will choose to stick with 1 or the other for the 3rd book instead of finding yet another new narrator & changing the atmosphere of the series yet again. 2nd, although there was more emotion from the narrator in Silent Stalker than there was in Blood Bound I still don't think there was enough, but that could have something to do with the fact that the narrator for Silent Stalker sounded like they were reading a list, pausing at every period & comma for too long, it didn't sound natural or very fluid, but stilted like they were reading from a to-do list or a grocery list or something. On the other hand I think they did a pretty good job of voicing the different characters throughout the book.
As I stated in my previous review for Blood Bound, I really enjoy these books overall, the story is great, but I hope it's not just the author reading the reviews so the narrators can get some feedback from listeners as well and they can get an idea of how to better the quality of their narrations going forward. I don't believe the narrators for Blood Bound or Silent Stalker were bad per se, but that a better job could've been done.

Great Series

Keira is the much better narrator than the previous one. The story is well written and progresses along. Some of the surprises and twists are quite interesting. A must read.
