Chemistry in book and chemistry with narrators

Each and every audiobook by Melanie Moreland grants me the escape I need from reality. Pair that with John and Maxine’s beautiful voices. It is always perfection. Their voices were in perfect harmony highlighting Mila and Nick’s story. The inflection is always breathtaking as they take the author’s amazing storytelling and deliver such an outstanding performance. I felt every emotion times one hundred as they narrated this final book in the ABC series. It is bittersweet knowing that this is the final book but the best was definitely saved for last. No rock was left unturned as Mila got her hea despite the roadblocks that appeared in this pairs journey. And getting to see the clan in all their happiness always warms my heart. Mila and Nick just clicked. They both battled something that hindered their view on life and love but together they overcame the stormy seas. The waves brought them together and it was everything. This might just be my fave audiobook narrated by the pair. The emotions in the way they read slays me every time but this romance with a touch of mental illness was wow.

You will love this!

Unscripted with Mila may be my new favorite by Melanie Moreland. Mila is such a tiny but mighty character. She is much more than she lets others see. Nick… he is so misunderstood due to his agent and Mila sees through all that. Through some meet cutes, Nick and Mila “meet” three times. Mila becomes the safe place Nick so desperately needs. Nick becomes Mila’s rock through all the chaos of this. I absolutely love the epilogue. I seriously hope this really truly isn’t the end of the BAM/ABC corp world. If it is, the epilogue helps tie everything together beautifully.

Performance: John Lane and Maxine Mitchell did an amazing job as Nick and Mila! I absolutely loved their performances. They brought Mila and Nick to life!

Wow! Just wow!

Where do I begin with the review for Unscripted with Mila? Five stars all around, the performance, the story and the characters are amazing. A romance book that’s raw, poignant and real. A good love story that dives into real life situation, how relevant mental health is, how real love is for better or worse, thru thick and thin. Loving someone who battles mental illness can be complicated, yet, with compassion, patience, determination and having a supportive partner, one’s mental health can be managed just like any other illness. To say that this book doesn’t have moments that’ll make readers teared up will be a lie, but it’s worth reading to educate one self about the importance of mental illness. Unscripted with Mila is one unforgettable love story.

It was Epic! Amazing! Perfection!

Oh Men! Nick, where do I found him? Mila is really luck, and obviously Nick is lucky too! They are two souls with some troubles deep in them but together they are like a fierce storm. I love Mila Morrison, she’s just perfect with all her “imperfections”. I love all her quirks and she is really smart. Van and Liv definitely did an excellent job as parents. Nick fall for her fast and hard, it’s so enjoyable to witness everything. Nick is really special and Mila is everything he need to be stronger and really happy. I love how they tease each other. All the funny moments between them are really good but when we involve the rest of the family, everything goes out of this world. I laughed and cried since the beginning, since the dedication!!! All the feels. I always fall in love with the hero, easily, but this time both, hero and heroine captured my heart completely. True be told, I wasn’t ready for all the emotions, the intensity of love for this book or the end of this series but it’s really the best end!

The performance as always FANTASTIC! John and Maxine always makes my eyes watering in the emotional moments, laughing out loud with all the hilarious ones and swooning in the romantic ones. Excellent!!!

Melanie congratulations on another successful creation, a masterpiece!

My Unscripted Review

I have always been a fan of books by Melanie Moreland. From her very 1st published work, Into the storm, to Unscripted by Mila, a new contender to my most favorite story.

When is a book more than a book? When you genuinely care for both of the characters like you would a member of your own family! This is such a book for me! When you hear that a book will touch on mental illness it easy to think that there is an angst driven story about to happen. That couldn't be further from the truth for Unscripted With Mila. Yes, Nick struggles with Bipolar and Mila suffers from vasovagal syncope, a it's a reoccurring discussion in the book, but not the main focus. This is, above all things, a love story.

For those of us who either suffers from a mental illness, or knows someone who suffers, it is very evident that Melanie Moreland took her time to research the topics and delivered a very accurate, and heartwarming story! I appreciated, most of all, that she doesn't use the illnesses as a tool to build up conflicts with her characters. She also did not gloss over the disease!
There was an event in the story that could have easily led to either situations, but the characters showed great maturity and had open discussions instead of letting things fester. This couple didn't go into a relationship thinking they could cure each other, but they give each other exactly what the other needed...support, caring, love! This made their love story the purest love story for me.

Unscripted with Mila is amazing! Simply, amazing! Although I don't want it to, it is the perfect ending for the Vested Interest/ABC Corp series. This book is part of a multi-series that spans over The Contract, Vested Interest, and Vested Interest/ABC Corp series, but can be read as a stand alone. However Melanie Moreland so generously gives fans of all three series a big red bow with the final chapter! I love this book! it is my favorite book by Melanie Moreland!!! Oh, and John Lane and Maxine Mitchell give Oscar worthy performances!
