A new definite favorite!

Lauren Blakely never fails to pull me into her world and put a smile on my face. I thoroughly enjoyed this story of forbidden romance with all the best roadblocks: age gap + ex-boyfriend’s father = Count me all in! Nick and Layla/Lola are only separated by 15 years and the age gap is written in such a way that their attraction and relationship are all about what they have in common, not focused on the difference in age. I really enjoyed that aspect of the story. Just one look from across the room and their destinies are forever altered. The way Lauren pulled them together and the subtle flirting had me on the edge of my seat. Nick is one of my favorite characters, which is saying a lot! He is incredibly sexy, self made, self aware, and such an amazingly tender and excellent lover that we would all want our first time to be exactly the way it is written in this story. Just wow! Layla might have it all, but she is determined to make it on her own, without the daily name and without the family money. She is a sex-positive bad-ass lady boss who has met her match in Nick. When they come together it is simply exquisite! There are roadblocks to get through, but the way they are handled with grace and forgiveness and learning from mistakes warms my heart and adds another book to my favorite list and all the kudos for Lauren Blakely and the world she continues to build for us!

Teddy Hamilton and Vanessa Edwin are so beautiful together in this story! They deliver emotionally rich performances to bring these beautiful characters and this wonderful story to life. Excellent casting, editing, proofing, and all the other things that go on behind the curtain to bring us truly wonderful audiobooks! Lauren Blakely is an audiobook hero!

Lauren Blakely is always a ‘one click’ author for me because she creates storylines that have you swooning and melting and getting lost in her wonderfully crafted and paced love stories. In Layla and Nick’s forbidden age-gap journey we get great characters, warmth, hurdles, sex, sizzles, good friends, new friends, emotional challenges and a hero and heroine who couldn’t resist.. or walk away, from the love of their lives. But they did try.. and try.. and try. And Teddy and Vanessa were the perfect duo, the talented twosome and five star double fit to bring Nick and Layla’s sweet, sour and sexy bits to life.

Worth a credit? Its a gimme.. gimme.. gimme.. grabbing hands.. I need this now yes, very creditworthy.
