Bad mothers & Mages!

That title will make more sense when you read the book!

Great story & characters, intrigue & passion!

I’m less enthused with the narrator. (I did audio.) She’s trying but if your character makes several appearances the male char characters come off forced, too much Christian Bale as Batman.

Scared

I felt the narrated did a good job in tellinhg the story. I borrowed the book in Kindle unlimited so I could follow along in the book too. I enjoy following along in the book and listening. Wish I could do this more often. Follow AJ as her life from proverty to learning about the supernatural world. What will she do when she finds out more about herself? Can she accept everything? Find a way to live her full life.

A story that has many twist and turns that will keep you wanting for more and a little cliffhanger at the end for the next book. The narrator did an excellent job reading and portraying each character.

I enjoyed how AJ learns about her true identity. She gets thrown a lot of obstacles to overcome but she gets through. She was a tad dramatic with her reaction to each new thing. The story was good and the narrator did a great job with voices and personalities. Look forward to part 2…i hope. 😊
