Awesome story!
Loved the book so much that I was amazed and disappointed I finished it so quickly. I will reread it multiple times. I love that there wasn’t any big or sudden cliff hangers, but I want to listen to it more. <3

A nice bit of world building
The last book threw us into the world and we followed talyn learning a few things here and there but this book really threw her into the deep end and we learned alot from it, there is still more to learn about the world outside of the city but she is no longer some small fish.

Excellent Sequal
Talyn's story continues, and in many ways explodes forward, as she makes friends, as well as a couple enemies, and gets much stronger. Descent also perfectly sets up what should be a great third book and I eagerly await the next installation.

Ok. So this book was better than the first.
