He just invited me to join his company. I’m never one to turn down a challenge, so here goes everything.

Loosely based on the Bible book of Ruth (but with f-bombs from Kai, Holland’s drunken confessions of adoration, and one spicy sex scene), Holland, My Heart is the first in a collection of biblical women’s stories retold as contemporary romance. Holland, My Heart is an MF, dual POV, love-after-loss, sexy, witty standalone romance.

A very good sweet romance.

I really enjoyed this age gap, billionaire romance. It wass so sweet, it maked my teeth hurt. Emotional. Funny. Loved their dialogue. Kai swore a little. But Holland would not........."Holy moly" was as bad as it got. All the characters are nice and likeable. The plot was simple and predictable. Probably too good to be true. If you are looking for a feel good romance, it is right here. Well written. Well told.
The narrators presented this story to perfection. Dual POV. Dual narration. Sexy, deep male voice. Kind, caring female voice. 5 stars for the narrators.

AUDIOBOOK REVIEW

I really enjoyed this love story. Yes, the two main characters finding a possible HEA was the whole point but the other examples of love throughout the book were so powerful. The love between those three women including the main female character, her mother-in-law, and sister-in-law who lost the two men they loved. He fell first let's call it because though both were instantly vibing he fell in love with the awesome Holland first. The story takes you at times to the past which doesn't really hurt the present storyline so I did like that too.

HEA

The story is a bit slow in the beginning, hang in there, it gets better. A sweet story with a HEA ending. It is a feel-good romance, but not likely to happen in reality. It was well written, decent characters. Narration was good, I really liked the deep male voice.

Fun realistic storyline!

This is a fun realistic story filled with plots and twists. I love that the author portrayed them as an intellectual power couple despite the age difference. I finished the book in one day.

Holland (27yrs), a young women suffered so much loss from her parents abandonment to the loss of her husband struggles puts her life back together with the help of her mother in-law & sister in-law. She meets Kai (40yrs) a successful businessman who is also suffering from his mother’s abandonment and the loss of his father and grandfather. Holland is smart, sassy and innovative with a big heart. Kai is her equal. The two embark on an emotional roller coaster ride as they find themselves and each other.

Chief Unicorn

I was emotional quickly into this as we witnessed the coming together of Holland and Aiden. I'm not sure if I'm glad or sad that I read part of the blurb. Either way, it wasn't the only time tears made their way to the surface.

I love the first time Holland and Kai meet and how tongue tied he becomes. In a similar fashion, I love Zara and Micah's reactions, too. Holland has some esteem issues, but that just makes her more human (you know, as much as a fictional character can be).

I love this book so much. The misunderstandings, the slow burn, the shared dreams, and the building of a beautiful relationship and several friendships were all wonderful. Usually, I don't like a burn this slow, but it totally works for these two.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are Cindy Harden and Brian Rivera. This is my first time listening to either, and I really liked both.

I rarely comment on book covers, but I don't think this one does the story justice.

So very heartwarming

This is such a heartwarming story about grief, family, and love.

Holland has created such a loving and warm family between her mother-in-law and sister-in-law. After a tragic accident leaves one without her sons and 2 without husbands, these women are left with each other to grow and grieve (not that its hard for them, their relationship is already so loving).

It was great being able to watch Holland learn to grow, grieve, and move forward in her life. The support she receives from her friends and loved ones is incredible.

This book is an insta-love to super slow burn. There are a few instances of miscommunication, but thankfully they are resolved quickly.

All in all a great heartwarming little romance.

There was nothing about this book, and the characters were annoying. I did not believe their motives, and their reasons for doing anything.
The narrator did an okay job, but it didn't help to improve the experience.
