Love these books. Read them years ago and it’s been just long enough that I’m still thoroughly engrossed. Love Annie Sullivan as the narrator, too. You always know which character is speaking. That takes a lot of talent!

Pretty sure Robert J Crane is the best author in the world. His stories never cease to amaze me, and this series gets better and better.

This is a fun series with 3-dimensional characters. They behave like real people behave; make good decisions & stupid decisions and deal with the fallout. The narrator is great for the main character, but (presumably) in an effort to differentiate other female voices they come across as caricatures. The narrator also mispronounces several common words repeatedly. Vague should not rhyme with bag etc. Overall series is worth the read, but evidently author has ‘quit’ on the audiobooks after this—leaving the listener hanging.
