a little too much romance.

it starts to feel like you are reading a women's romance story. it wasn't overdone, but it is certainly a theme in most of Rick's books.

sun killer action adventure

Ita a while ride and I'm waiting for the next to begin. excellent performance by Mark. very dynamic voices. new and enticing story for jn do glad to have Rick on board for this series .

Mark Boyett is fantastic!!!!

I’ll keep this short since this is a sequel. I liked this book better than the first one. Not ripping on the first book but this one took that and dialed it up by giving Chase and company a team of salty veterans to help them in their quest to stop the Sunkillers. I am anxiously awaiting the third book!!!

Characters voices & Story Flow

I loved the story and the pacing. The narrator was great. He used just enough variations between the characters to let me understand who was speaking.

Another good edition

Another chapter of peril, triumph, loss, greed and unbridled ambitions. Book 3 should be interesting. This story perfectly illustrates the problem with greed and ambitions. Why work together to save all human kind when you can rob, plunder and lie until you have all the power to become The Emperor from Star Wars.
