So unrealistic

This is a nice story if you like happy endings and everything to turn out very neatly and perfect. It’s really quite unbelievable and that’s not my kind of book. However, I’ve always liked LM Montgomery and it’s well done and a very good narrator.

Incredible story!

I love the characters in this story. Valency grew into herself. Barney found himself. They became the ultimate example of soulmates.

The descriptions of the brick house, the Blue Castle and especially nature are poignant. I couldn’t stop once I started the narrative. I wish there was a Book 2.

One of the best books in a while!

Ok, it will start off very slow but once you get to chapter 10, the story will get better and better and better! This has become one of my new favorites!

Like all of Montgomery’s this book captures my heart. Every book I read bring’s me to a place I never want to leave.

Good narrating, fun story

This was so delightful! The story line was a little predictable, but I absolutely reveled in Valanecy’s transformation. Sometimes I want a story with beautiful descriptions, sassy characters, and a happy ending, even if I know it’s coming. Valency wasn’t classically beautiful or clever, or even angelically good, but became brave and good and even beautiful by doing what was right (not conventional). Enjoyed the narrator’s voice, also. Fit the heroines age in sound, but also great voice actor.
