A legacy like mine was never meant to be easy; shaky alliances, deals with the deathless, and an enemy far more powerful than previously believed all weigh heavily on my shoulders.

I’d hidden behind the mask of the Yaga for so long, I’d forgotten what it meant to be human. By claiming the fated mate bond with my Riders, I’ve rediscovered parts of myself I’d buried centuries ago, but I wonder if digging up the dead has its own consequences.

Our mission to unearth the key needed to stop The Devouring leads us deep into the decaying heart of humanity, but our greatest threat may come from within. As my men and I struggle to overcome the ghosts of our pasts, I pray we can learn to master our collective power - before it consumes us entirely.

I am Vasilisa, and I refuse to accept my fate.

The Yaga’s Riders series is based on the folklore of Baba Yaga, with creative liberties taken. It features mysterious forces, a legendary witch, multiple POV (including MM) and a cliff-hanger. It is intended for mature listeners.

These three books went by way too fast and I’m sad to learn this author doesn’t have any more on Audible. She is one of my new fave authors. I love all the twists on classic stories and classic romances.

Did not think I’d be as into this sexually fluid story as I was. I’ve passus been a contented Kinsey 5.5, and turns out I was down for EVERYTHING and am happily revising that old number!

Fortunately, I’m a huge fan of C. Rochelle, whose writing, characterizations, humor, threat, love stories, interwoven plotlines, and the tangibly perfect interactions between her creations has always struck me as slightly divine. That she doesn’t shy away from acknowledging her characters’ bloodthirstiness is a bonus. Sometimes ya just gotta choose violence!

Amazing voice work, especially how each narrator mimicked the accents created by the primary. Brilliant work!

Hoping for more of these and others. Maybe crossovers?

Loved this entire story SO much!

Where has Rochelle been all my life?!?! The story, the characters, the world she created was original and that’s really hard to do with the millions of books out there already. I was hooked from the beginning of book one. I loved this trilogy so much. I can’t wait to read and listen to her other work. And I can’t say enough about the narrators. I’m so glad I got to listen as well. They brought this story to life.

John Lane. *fans face* those accents just do it for me. Maxine Mitchell's Vasilisa was perfection.

Narrators are magical

I loved the dynamic characters and relationships from book 1 to 3; the plot and action were great, intimate scenes were beautiful and graphic, and a terrific ending!

Wonderful All Around!
