Vander & Brynn were made for each other. I was a little leary about the story to begin with. I'm not much for biker stories in general. Most of the time it seems there isn't much difference between bikers & gangs except the mode of transportation. They are both very scary. This club was no different. There are several edge of your seat moments.

The story was a good one in any case and had excellent narration.

Action Packed Romance

4.5 stars. I first came across Vander Norcross in the Billionaire Heists series. This Audiobook did not disappoint, especially with Stella Bloom and Teddy Hamilton as narrators. Brynne and Vander are a crime-fighting couple (on the grey side) who will quickly become of your favorites.

Nope 😞

I couldn't wait for Vanders story but ... I wish so much Brynn could have been better . Her arrogance and know it all attitude really messed it up for me. Why oh why did he get this self righteous women ? Now I love all the series that Anna Hacket writes that I've listened to and I have gone back and listen to almost all of them at least twice some even more. But this one I just can't handle . I'm so disappointed in this one. I know Vander needed a strong women to match him but not her. She is so judgemental about Vander heck she wasn't even honest with her cousin when she needed help because she was a woman and was proving herself. How stupid and her arrogance caused a lot of problems for Vander and his team. But even when warned by others about danger she was in , nope she didn't listen.
Others may like this but it wasn't for me.

Vander!

After enjoying all the other Norcross family members finding their other half, we finally get to see who can match up to Vander Norcross.

Enter Brynn Sullivan, undercover detective. Bad@!$ in her own right, she is strong enough not to cower before Vander, giving him back as much as he gives her.

Love the chemistry and push/ pull between these two as they struggle to take down bad guys, fight their attraction, and end up with a mighty satisfying ending.

I have been waiting for Vander's story and it didn't disappoint. All of the Norcross Security books have been awesome, fun reads.

This is a great match!

Vander Norcross has always come across as ‘standoffish’…turns out that he just hadn’t met a woman that intrigued him. Until he meets Brynn…the detective is about to go undercover in a motorcycle gang to find out who’s responsible for distributing a dangerous street drug. Sparks fly as the pair team up to bring down the drug dealer…lots of sparks! Whew! Great chemistry and great story.

5 big stars - all the way! The story was riveting, fast moving, fun, heroism with romance thrown in as well! Will Vander finally fall ? - you’ve got to buy the audiobook to see! 👏👏👏👏👏

Those forearms though!

Like the author, I too have a thing for a man’s forearms.
This installment pays tribute to Vander’s forearms a lot - and I was there for it!

Vander to the Norcross family: “We’re NOT together!”
On the plus side, I like that Bryn was a tough cop and I appreciated her being the pursuer
of Vander “I can’t afford to get involved” Norcross.

Brynn: “I’m going to stop talking now.”
On the downside, Brynn did so much of the pursuing that it felt like she was steamrolling and Vander was too much of a martyr. While Vander was still a dark, dangerous guy with everyone else, I was a little
let down at him being the submissive of the two. The sex wasn’t terrible … just not quite as scorching
as I built it up to be, given Vander is the top dog at Norcross.

And yep, the formula of her getting kidnapped for the finale is still going. But at least Bryn is at her ballsy, quippy best while she plays the tied up damsel and waits for Vander to lead team Norcross in the rescue.
