This has got to be one of the best advents I've ever read. The narration was wonderful, and who doesn't want to be read to by a Scottish man of God?? I highly recommend this advent devotional during the Christmas season.

The beautiful readings by the author
Beautifully done. I read the first advent Love came down at Christmas. So perfect for the season. This is the second book I read and listened to. What insights about the journey and birth of Jesus!
Highly recommend listening and reading it together. The author reads his portion and the music interludes are so fitting.

Great writing!
Wonderful study not just for Christmas but a study of the book of Matthew and the life of Christ. Important cultural understanding helps the reader get a full picture of the meaning of Matthew’s writing and Christ’s work. A beautiful book.

Wonderful Advent Devotional
It was a blessing to begin each morning listening to Dr. Ferguson lead us through the advent story and prepare our hearts for Christmas. Wonderful selection of hymns as well to broaden my Christmas playlist.
