Dante, the youngest Marchionni brother, is in love.
Great right?
Wrong.
The woman of his dreams is accused of attempted murder.
Worst still, her intended victim is Dante’s brother.
Frankie Abruzzo will do anything to break herself and her sister’s free from the mafia, including going undercover in a rival crime family’s multi-billion-dollar corporation.
But she never counted on falling for a Marchionni.
When Frankie is accused of a crime she didn’t commit and her cover is blown, she's forced to go on the run. Between the real killer’s attempts to silence her, her family’s efforts to force her to return to Sicily, and the Marchionnis’ quest for justice, her only hope is to disappear.
Unfortunately, no matter how fast, or how far she travels, she can’t seem to escape Dante.
And she’s beginning to wonder why she should.
You’ll love this action-packed romantic comedy, because everyone loves rooting for a couple with the odds stacked against them.
Each book in the Bourbon Street Bad Boys' series can be listened to separately, though they are best enjoyed when read in series order:

Aaron Shedlock and Virginia Rose bring our series to a close. These two never cease to amaze me with their array of voices. Shedlock creates each of the brothers, and has kept the voices consistent through the series. Right down to every inflection we know who is speaking. He made me love Dante from the start. Rose uncovers Frankie's personality and I love her ability to create a quirky, loving woman. She is real and a little over the top and makes Frankie easy to relate to. This is a wonderful team and a series you do not want to miss!

I love this series. Each brother feels like family now. I have enjoyed each one; the love, the suspense, and especially the humor. Since Dante is the last brother, I will miss them but I look forward to seeing them in the future as we get to know the other families better.
I loved Frankie. I love intelligent characters with original quirks. Add in a strong desire to be appreciated and loved and this is Frankie. I adored every little complication surrounding her. My feelings about Dante weren't as simple. When he was good with Frankie, I loved him; when he doubted her, I did not. I realize she is an Abruzzo but his brothers seemed to accept her truths easier than he did. However, I desperately wanted these two to find happiness. They were so good together as Julia and Danny and I knew they could be as Frankie and Dante. Whether it's gaming, tech, Italy, or family, they shared the same loves. They belong together.
Aaron Shedlock has done a fantastic job making each Marchionni brother a unique character. I am impressed with how he brought each one to life with an individual voice. Virginia Rose joins the other female narrators voicing the Marchionni loves. She was great as Frankie. She brought out the youth, intelligence, awkwardness, and vulnerabilty of Frankie. Well done.
Perfectly quirky
