"They say I'm their princess! Who are they kidding? I'm just Silver Springs Resident Orphan."

Even in Silver Springs, a town full of paranormal abnormalities, Lupine, the town's resident orphan has never felt like she belonged.

Overworked, stressed, hair flying everywhere, Lupine is constantly on the move working with the unique children in the Silver Spring's Orphanage. The Silver Springs human population regularly grumble to her about their parenting challenges.

They have no idea! They should try being responsible for twenty or so paranormal children. The orphanage is pure mayhem. The witches are hiding Lupine's keys, the half-angels keep levitating up to the roof and the shifters are running rogue.

When the mafia come to town, will she finally find her home among the wolves?

Lupine is a paranormal reverse harem romance. It's part of the Silver Springs shared universe.

FMC is pretty obstinate and does not like to communicate purposely with the guys. I am not sure a relationship would work at all with someone that doesn’t bend. Little action in the end. Many fade to black scenes. It’s a book to pass the time as a stand-alone.

Hmm

This is the first book by this author that I have read, and I really enjoyed it. I love Lupine and how she is willing to do everything she can for the orphans in her care. Meeting the guys moving in across the street makes for an interesting story. It has hilarity, sexiness, and an amazing story overall. The narrator does an amazing job of bringing these characters to life and I truly enjoyed listening to it. I cannot wait to see where the next book in this series takes me.

Fantastic!

This was an enjoyable read, but it’s less rom and less com than the other Silver Springs library books I’ve read. It’s not quite as light hearted as the others and definitely not as silly, which isn’t a bad thing if you’re looking for a cute fated mates quickie story with minimal steam, a dose of mystery, and a comfortable/familiar world.
I like Lupine and her mates, but the children at the orphanage kind of outshined her mates pretty consistently; they weren’t as dynamic or developed. I would’ve loved to know more about them individually and the whole syndicate story. Lupine makes a lot of crappy decisions for the sake of keeping control of her life and not letting men boss her around, but also listens to “the creepy twins” 😅 But her heart is in the right place, she really cares about the kids and the orphanage as a whole which is super sweet.
The narration for this one was good too! There were a few spots where lines were repeated that I don’t know if they were supposed to be read as internal dialogue, pause, said dialogue or if they just accidentally repeated themselves, but it was a little jarring from the story. Thankfully it only happened a handful of times, mostly towards the beginning. Otherwise I enjoyed the narrators voice and the story was a nice quick listen.

A cute Silver Springs addition

“Anything is possible in Silver Springs.” —Lupine

I’m new to this world, having only read Violet, Wynter, Calluna’s Christmas short, and Candela … but yes, I do know that much is true.

I take an instant liking to Lupine, she seems very down to earth and relatable. This installment is fun, IMO because it’s mainly set in an orphanage. The kids are all different types of supernaturals and various ages and it really adds a fun dynamic. I’d love to read more in this world, and particularly in Lupine’s world.

A fun, fast read that spiced up a few hours of my work day very nicely.

4 stars.

Note:
The audio performance is perfect! This narrator is great; hope to listen to more from her.

Fun listen to keep me company while I work!

I really liked this RH book. It's full of shifter wolves which is always a plus! The plot moves fast and I did struggle to keep up with some of it. I wish there would have been more romance between the characters and it didn't feel so rushed, it seemed more like a subplot. I did like the character dynamics and how they interacted with each other. All in all, I'm glad I read the book - just wish there was more romance.

Where’s the romance
