Hot!

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. I enjoyed this story, Cade is an alpha dominant bear shifter and Haley is an independent women. Cade saved Haley's life once and ten years later he does again but this time he is not letting her go! Narrator Jack Calihan does a wonderful job with the story and characters!

Great performance by Jack!

Jack Calihan gives another fantastic performance as Cade. The story was good, a bit predicable but I enjoy these types of books and listening to them narrated by such a great narrator make them even better. It lacked a bit in plot, but the scenes were great and super hot. I liked the supporting characters a lot as well. Overall, a very good listen! Definitely recommend it.

sexy bear shifter

Bear is an alpha male to the core. Cade is a Hot, sexy, dominant, bear shifter. He has a connection with Haley. He needs to protect her from devious Land developers. Whenever Jack Calihan narrates a story, I know I will be in for a great listen. His deep sexy, growly voice is perfect for Cade.

Halley and Cade

This had an environment feel to it from it being the basis of the story with some discipline and steaminess. Jack Calihan did a great job narrating the story and it was really exciting to listen to.

Good Book

Shifters are one thing a man turned to a bear over 200 years old is a whole other ball game. What a read and mix of passions here. I enjoyed the mix and the plot it worked out well. Now cliff hanger what happens to the next??

Hailey and Cade

This book was really good. Cade is a 200 year old man aka the spirit of the bear. He watches Hailey from afar and knows she is his mate. He rescues her from bad guys and claims her that night. He is so dominant, he treats her like a child when he punishes her by spanking her and make her stand in the corner and face the wall. Afterwards, he would pleasure her and he had one heck of an appetite. His stamina was unreal. There was some drama with bad guys who wanted the oil under the mountain under the gize of building a casino. Hailey was in their way and Cade was not having it. I love that Delta James does not drag out the drama in her books. Jack Calihan, as usual, did a great job with the narration.

Fantastic Shifter Romance!

This is a fantastic story that is well written and narrated!! This storyline has action, suspense, intrigue, mystery,murder and romance. This shifter book had my attention from the beginning and kept me entertained until the end.
Jack Calihan is Magnificent at both male and female voices. I love listening to the audiobooks he narrates because has an amazing voice. I definitely recommend this audiobook!

At this point, I've read several Delta James books and Bear is what I've come to expect from her writing. While the spanking and disciple didn't bother me per se, I think if Cade had set some rules beforehand then it would have been more effective. Haley wasn't really told what he expected of her ahead of time which would have been hard. I also wish there had been an epilogue to help round out the story.

Side note, as someone who was raised in Southern California in the 80's and 90's I was highly amused when we found out Just Cal's last name. Every time his first and last name were said together "and his dog Spot" went through my mind and I giggled.
