after listening to world war z about 10 times i decided to get this series. it is no exaggeration to say i listen to it when ever i can on top of my 10 hour work day. i wish i had paced myself because im so close to finishing it. amazing story 10/10 will listen to all 100+ hours again.

Good Stories

The writing was not the best, but the story kept me enthralled. I like that it was a good mixture of mens adventure and drama.

Finished all 12books, and Mr. Brown is an amazing writer. Loved it so much that the 12 books are now a physical part of my library.
I felt so many feelings. I laughed, I cried, I laughed, and then bawled. The scenes allowed me to create the image in my head and saw it play out in my minds eye. Sometimes it was so vivid that I had to stop several times to think, or cry some more, or put things into perspective.
The zombies captured my attention, the story captured my imagination, and the characters were as real as my family, friends, and neighbors.
I'm not going to hype this up anymore, except to say that I very much suggest this series.
Like, A LOT.
Also, the narration was excellent. He does different character voices and helps to flesh everyone out. Essential to the audio version.

Very Interesting

I really like the All Dead series. This all-in-one is a good deal. Some good character development. Good storylines. Just a couple items.

Some items were extremely obvious like the event with Teresa and Jamie, and the long drawn realization of the characters was played far too much.
The other is that the author provides a number of long term story arcs with some characters, and no one is safe from catastrophe. He goes to great lengths to develop scenes and scenarios where he can explore reactions by different personality types, cultures, etc. which pretty cool. My complaint is that there can be too many of them, a number of them feel like they rely heavily on stereotypes, and I understand it is meant to stress the nightmarish physical and psychological world they live in, but the internal monologues for any given character repeat the same laments and fears in a very short time.
Still, very much worth the listening!

I liked the skipping around between characters and vignettes, the tie in is awsome. A must listen.

I am totally sad that I finished these books.. I am going to miss the characters they were apart of my daily life since I started the 1st book.. honestly I feel like it could have gone for another 12 books! this is a great series!! loved it!

Well worth a single credit

If this genre has any appeal to you, I dont see how you can go wrong. 100+ hours of post apocalyptic survival and the struggle against zombies. Along with a nice time skip in the last couple books to finish up the stories in the long run, that'll leave you feeling they all have been completed.

I was happy to see characters learning lessons and maturing in to adulthood as the story develop.

great series. i wish it wasnt over. started it when it first came out. glad i finally finished it!
